OH BOY!

I know that kids often write these kind of letters to Santa...but I was NOT expecting this from my child!!!

My Sydni-girl

I had to do a little post about Sydni. I tell her all the time she is my FAVORITE daughter...and she reminds me that she is my ONLY daughter. I love her though. I am SO proud of her. She is an amazing student. She always gets 100% (or more) on all her assignments and her weekly updates are always perfect. I love that she is so smart, but she is also so fun. She's also super sweet, but has some spunk to her too. I love her!
She got to have a sleepover with Riley and they donned their new Christmas aprons that Grandma J made them and made cookies with Grandma.
The school chose one child out of each class to display a letter to Santa in the main hall. They chose Sydni's. Here is her letter.
She was SO proud to have her letter displayed...and so was I :)

HALLOWEEN

We had a REALLY fun Halloween this year!
We took the kids to the Big Red Barn for a hayride and to pick out a pumpkin.
Then, we went and got some really yummy scones!
They were HUGE and SO good!
Cooper liked the honey butter the best.

Then, we invaded Jeremiah's house to carve pumpkins.
We ate beef stew and cornbread.
And got really dirty.
Thanks to Jeremiah's mad artistic skills, Sydni ended up with an awesome pumpkin!
Bridger did his all by himself. I LOVE the trap door he made in the back so you can put the candle in a little easier :)
Here are the kids' pumpkins ;)
How cute is he? Love that boy!
I even dressed up this year...TWICE! I went from a fat grandma...
...to a naughty pirate.
I was just planning on being a pirate (without the naughty), but Rachelle's costume ended up being a little more naughty than I remembered it :) It was too late to change it, so I just went with it. EEK!!!

I went to the Halloween parade at school and got to see my two cute kiddos in their classes.

The kids got to trick-or-treat at their dad's work.
We got visited by a cute vampire (Chase)
But, Iron Man fought him and he left.
After a little snack ;)
Cooper sporting a creepy mask while we applied face paint.
This is the first year I have attempted face paint. It was kind of fun!
I love the zombie pose...and I can't believe he let me take a picture of him with that clip in his hair!!!
Jeremiah did the finishing touches on the makeup.
We tried the blood in the teeth, but Bridger said it tasted so gross he couldn't swallow. So, we wiped it out.
We got to meet up with my best friend from high school to trick-or-treat in the BEST neighborhood ever!!!
Three of the cutest trick-or-treaters I've ever seen!
Love him! (He had to have a little blood on his face too).
Zombie football player!
It was SO much fun!!!

Duck Pond!

We went to feed the ducks at the duck pond!
I ended up taking Rachelle's kids with us...5 kids! It was a little crazy at times, but they were pretty good :)
Bridger liked getting as close as he could to them and letting them eat out of his hands.

There were LOTS of ducks and they weren't afraid of us! Sydni didn't like how close they were getting to her.
They had a FEAST of THREE loaves of bread! We blew through all of our bread in no time.

Cooper had fun playing with the sticks and was chasing the ducks away with it.
Bridger is the treasure-finder! He is ALWAYS finding treasures wherever we are. He found a fish along the bank in the water. He thought it was dead...until it started flipping around in his hand!!! He threw it back hoping it would have a chance to survive.
After all the bread was gone, we walked around the pond. The boys found a shallow part and jumped into the water...and everyone else followed.
Then we started a fire and roasted marshmallows for smores :)

The kids even roasted their leftover nuggets :) I thought that was super cute and a little ingenious!
My cute boy...I love him :)
We played around with the camera....
...and just had FUN!
LOVE my kiddos!

Cooper is starting preschool!

I had to add Cooper's first day of school EVER!!! He started preschool today and he was SO excited! His teacher is AWESOME and he loves her already...and so do I. Her name is Mrs. Medved and Cooper calls her Mrs. Medbed :) I'm hoping that Learning Dynamics can get him caught up since I have taught him NOTHING! He is very obviously the youngest. That's why I'm paying the big bucks though. I hope it's worth it. What a cutie! I love you bubby!
